DJ Barrie T is a true house music connoisseur with a deep love for the genre’s rich history—and a sharp ear for the hidden gems that often go unheard. Whether it’s a long-lost dub mix, an overlooked B-side, or a forgotten remix from the golden era, Barrie T brings rare grooves to light and onto the dancefloor.

Cutting his teeth on the south coast club scene in the late 1990s, he was a regular behind the decks at nights like Non Compos Mentis, By The Sea, United Colours of House, and The Kindergarten Klub. His sound found new ground in Bristol throughout the 2000s, with sets at Bar I, Cafe Blue, and the genre-hopping Phantasy Ashtray nights at Castros.

After stepping back for a time, the spark was reignited in 2020 when he embraced the digital evolution of DJing—and fell in love with the craft all over again. With a renewed energy and a bottomless crate of rarities, he now shares his passion through VDub Radio, curating sets that celebrate every corner of house music, from the familiar to the forgotten.
