July 2022:
Barrie (hospitality professional by day, DJ by night and sometimes the afternoon) has been a regular at VW Festivals up and down the country (mostly down to be fair).
John (operations manager by day, otherwise musician and some-time actual broadcast professional) wouldn't have gone camping if you paid him.
Friends for over 10 years, Barrie floats the idea of an audition tape for the third of fourth time. John, leaving the BBC for a proper job, finally agrees and the rest (much like each show) is consigned to history.

Barrie and John met through a love of cars and, more importantly, vehicle diagnostic software. Barrie likes camping and bought his first van in 2022. John had camped twice in a 22 year period and still doesn't know how he's ended up with a VW van, often saying "when we sack this off, I'm going to sell this bloody thing and buy an Audi S4....")

Together, Barrie and John present the Sunday Social - a "magazine-style" programme of music and chat, occasionally featuring interview with people you might have heard of, including:

Rob Bell (BBC Travel Show)
Chris Packham (World famous TV presenter, wildlife expert, activist and owner of a 1962 split-screen camper)
George Egg (BBC Radio 4, Snack Hacker)
The Roaming Radfords

Their show never ceases to amaze - mostly John, who can't believe that they are still on air after nearly 3 years.
