Here to entertain the alternative with a history spanning the late 50s right up to date. I grew to love music at an early age, listening to the offshore pirate radio stations of the 60s I have witnessed the growth of how Britain has contributed to the global landscape of popular music. I love music and performing on air as well as in person at functions. The playlist is eclectic in choice and features as much vinyl as possible, there is a leaning towards 60s MOD and northern soul, complemented with some great Soul, R&B, Rock, Reggae, Ska and so much more. I have no filter when it comes to selecting tunes that make you cosy with your memories. Starting back in the 70s as a mobile and club DJ, I went through the usual range of functions skipping from vinyl to CD then back to vinyl enhanced with digital, covering just about every entertainment need from holiday camps, even funerals and the usual family functions, eventually settling into a groove preceded by using vinyl for nostalgic festivals and of course broadcasting around this wonderful planet that has huge possibilities.

Top that off with a whim to buy a VW T5 to lug my show around I ventured into the VW community with ease, especially when I started doing Club Night parties for the south coast VW clubs. The bug had been planted there was no turning back I had to get another VW Bus dedicated to camping. A chance spotting of a beautiful 1972 Bay Camper fresh from restoration sealed the deal. After spending some years broadcasting on the web waves of soul internet stations, my interest was raised by the dream team of VDubRadio. I made contact and almost straight away I had a show ready to go out on Wednesday nights and its feeling great. Living the dream is more than I can say for most people of my mature years, for me on VDub Radio the future is looking great, as this station has pedigree and ambition which I am very happy to share.
